VOI Arenella Resort ****

Location

Set in 60 hectares of unspoilt nature, the VOI Arenella Resort is just a short distance from the sea and only 10 km from the city of Syracuse.The hotel is easy to reach by taking the main highway from Catania airport, just 70 km away.It is also an excellent base for exploring the towns of Noto (30 km), Modica and Ragusa (55 km).

Hotel
The Resort, set in a protected marine area, consists of a central building and various secondary buildings which have two floors. Simple and modern in style, it has large, well-landscaped gardens. 

Several areas have recently been renovated: the bar, the pizzeria, the swimming pools and the solarium around them, the amphitheatre and two paddle courts.

Rooms
The spacious resort, divided into two areas, Anapo and Ciane, features 410 family-friendly rooms, spread between the main building and the cozy two-story villas. All rooms have a bathroom with shower or bath , hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, safety-box, wi-fi, mini-fridge (refreshment service on request, drinks subject to charge and water included for the entire stay), balcony or patio. 

Beach
Just a short distance (800m) separates the VOI Arenella Resort from a beach of golden sand, equipped with sun beds, beach umbrellas, showers and changing rooms, and a deep blue sea with a gently sloping bottom. Where the seabed is rocky, platforms have been set up which permit guests to dive directly into the water (mid-May to mid-September, flexible dates).

Sun beds and beach umbrellas are available free of charge, according to availability, on the beach (1 umbrella and 2 sunbeds per room from the fourth row), on the platforms and round the pool. The 1s, 2nd and 3rd row are reserved for guests staying in the Superior Rooms.

Starting from the 2025 season, a new platform – the third one – will be introduced to offer an even more exclusive relaxation experience. This new area will feature umbrellas and sunbeds, as well as modern services and showers to ensure maximum comfort for our guests. Additionally, a new bar will be available, offering a selection of products from the All-Inclusive line.

To reach the beach, guests simply walk through the nature reserve, but there is also a free shuttle-bus service (from May 1st). Beach service is active from May 1st to September 30th, from 9 am to 7 pm.

Beach towels are available with payment of a € 10.00 deposit; each change costs € 2.00.

Wellness centre
The Carissa Wellness Centre, located within the Resort, features a swimming pool, relaxation area, sauna, Turkish bath, Jacuzzi, indoor and outdoor fitness spaces, beauty treatments, massages, and a herbal tea corner. Access is restricted to guests over 12 years old. Entry is payable on-site, and the session lasts approximately one hour.

Families
A paradise for children and teenagers, thanks to the rich program offered by the entertainment staff. Divided by age groups, kids will have fun with games, tournaments, and sports activities.

From opening until May 30th and from September 27th until the closing date: some entertainment activities are planned, such as gymnastics, card tournaments, and a mini-club, along with evening entertainment featuring live music.

From May 31st to September 26th: our animators will be available daily to organize games, tournaments, and group lessons. Numerous sports are available: muscle awakening, aqua gym, aero fit, outdoor fitness, music, and group dances. Every evening, in the amphitheater, the entertainment team presents cabaret, musical, and variety shows to conclude the day with fun or relaxation while listening to good music. Live music evenings, parties, and DJ sets.

VOIFAMILY:

VOILÀ BABY (0-2 years) – The program includes a fully equipped nursery (bottle warmers, blenders, dishes, microwave, refrigerators). During care hours (11:30 AM - 9:30 PM), specific products will be provided (vegetable broth, vegetable purées, fresh fruit, baby food with meat, fish, and fruit, milk, biscuits, yogurt, water, juices, diapers).
"Welcome Baby Kit" (available only upon reservation and with a deposit, limited availability).
Includes: stroller, bathtub, toilet reducer, bottle warmer.

VOILÀ KIDS and JUNIOR CLUB (divided into: 3-6; 7-9; 10-12 years) – Play area for children, lunch and dinner in a dedicated area, special activities (circus school or juggling, activities with marine biologists, baby fitness). Also available, depending on age, group lessons in tennis, football, windsurfing, sailing, baby dance. A room with TV, video games, Wi-Fi, and board games. Welcome kit with a backpack and cap.

YOUNG CLUB (13-17 years) – Sports and recreational activities that promote socialization and ensure fun. A room with video games and Wi-Fi connection, dedicated dinners, and a nightclub after animation shows.

Baby-sitting: Available upon request, at an additional cost.

Restaurant
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served at the central restaurant with assisted buffet service.

A selection of gluten-free products will be available for breakfast, with gluten-free dishes featured on the buffet at both restaurants. Our chefs are always available to accommodate other dietary needs and intolerances (the resort participates in the A.I.C. – Italian Celiac Association's Gluten-Free Outside Home program).

The All-Inclusive formula includes: international breakfast, buffet lunch and dinner with house water, house wine, beer, and soft drinks on tap during meals. From 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM, guests can enjoy unlimited consumption of water, soft drinks, juices, beer, house wine, a selection of local and national alcoholic beverages included in the All-Inclusive offer, and a selection of alcoholic cocktails. Two snack sessions are provided each day. The All-Inclusive formula does not apply at the beachfront bar-restaurant or VOI GUSTO.

The property also features a bar inside the main building, the Terrazza Bar, and the Pool Bar (from May 31st to September 26th, subject to weather conditions, the resort reserves the right to modify opening and/or closing dates) as well as a restaurant and bar at the beach, offering rotisserie and self-service (paid) with large indoor spaces and sea-view verandas.

The Alfeo Restaurant offers a rich buffet with grills and show cooking, providing an international breakfast with sweet and savory options. The menu includes dishes from Mediterranean tradition, with organic ingredients, local produce, and vegan options. A dedicated children's area with specific products is available. Themed evenings are organized throughout the week, including local cuisine, Gala dinners, street food, international cuisine, and VOIhotels specialties inspired by the resort chain's destinations.

The Aretusa Restaurant is reserved for guests in Premium, Superior, and Superior Junior Suite rooms, with a dedicated table. Water, wine, beer, and soft drinks are included. Breakfast and lunch are served as buffets, while dinner offers a buffet for appetizers, side dishes, fruit, and desserts, along with a "Table d'Hôte" menu with dishes served by the chef. (The resort reserves the right to modify opening and/or closing dates).

The "I Mori" Pizzeria, recently renovated, offers a wide selection of pizzas and craft beers. Reservations are required, and drinks on tap (water, house wine, beer, and soft drinks) are included (open according to weather conditions from June 7th to September 26th, at lunch and dinner).

VOI GUSTO: Open from May 31st to September 26th, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 AM, offers all guests typical Sicilian dishes: granitas, brioches, artisanal ice creams, cannoli filled upon request, cassatine, panelle, Sicilian arancini, organic DOC regional wines, craft beer, almond milk. The service is at an additional cost. (The resort reserves the right to modify opening and/or closing dates).

Paid services include: coffee, international and branded alcoholic drinks, ice cream, and all bottled and canned beverages.

Sport
There is also a diving centre and miscellaneous sports equipment for rental. The entertainment staff organizes beach games, muscle stimulation, aquagym, aerofit, group dancing.

From opening until May 30th and from September 28th until closing, there are some entertainment activities such as gymnastics, card tournaments and live music evenings. From 01/06 to 28/09 the activities are increased and every day the animation staff is available to organise games, tournaments and group courses.

Live music evenings, parties, DJ sets, evening shows in the amphitheatre.

Other available services: a new sports area with 2 paddle courts, a tennis court and a five-a-side football pitch with activities organised by federal instructors; bike centre for bicycle rental.

Services & Activities 
Wi-Fi connection is free throughout the Resort area.

At the VOI Arenella Resort, there are two swimming pools: one for relaxation without animation, one with animation (both with a shallow area for children), and one indoor pool in the wellness center. There is also a poolside bar (open at the discretion of the management).

Beach Service: sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach (subject to availability, but specify from the 3rd row onwards).
The beach service is available from May 1st to September 30th, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The beach can be reached with a walk through a natural green oasis or with a free shuttle service by a characteristic train from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM (shuttle available from May 1st).

Other free services include: pool and platforms (subject to availability); shuttle service to and from the beach at scheduled times; luggage transport service; free medical service (only in high season) during scheduled hours (payment required outside of scheduled hours); unguarded parking; evening shows in the amphitheater.

Entertainment with animation activities, sports activities, and shows.

For an additional fee, bicycle rental is available, as well as a shuttle to Syracuse twice a day (excluding Sundays) at a cost of €3.00 round trip for children up to 11 years old, and €5.00 round trip for those 12 years and older.

There is an unguarded internal parking lot, equipped with an electric vehicle charging station located in the "Ciane" parking area.

Additionally, there is a bazaar, a newsstand, a parapharmacy, luggage storage, various lounge rooms, a library corner, and an ATM.

The Club Card is mandatory from May 31st to September 26th and costs €49.00 per person per week, for both adults and children from 3 years old.

The tourist tax, which is also mandatory, is €1.60 per person per day starting from 14 years old, for a maximum of 7 nights. The amount must be paid at check-in. The rules regarding the tourist tax may be subject to change.
