Perla Nera

An elegant aristocratic villa dating back to the early 16th century, featuring spacious interiors and lush gardens, Perla Nera is located about 20 minutes from Catania airport, south of Mount Etna.

The villa consists of a main building, which houses five bedrooms, and an annexe that can accommodate a maximum of four guests.

The main body of the Perla Nera villa opens with a large entrance hall, which includes a small sitting area consisting of a fireplace and armchairs, a dining table and the original traditional wine press once used by the property.

Continuing along the corridor we reach the dining room and a traditional kitchen, both with access to the garden. On the same floor there is a reading room and two bedrooms: one double bedroom with adjacent bathroom (shower) and two communicating bedrooms with en-suite bathroom (shower). There is also an additional small bathroom for guests.

An internal staircase, located near the reading room, leads to the attic where there are two more bedrooms with private bathroom (shower).

The large garden separates the main building from the Dépendance, where there is a double bedroom with adjacent bathroom, a twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom, living room and kitchenette.

The garden hosts, in turn, two winter gardens dotted with citrus trees, a swimming pool with hydromassage jets, a barbecue area and a dining area, located on the patio of the villa.

A caretaker lives on the property and is available in case of need. Some of the elegant sofas, which are very dear to the property, are covered to be preserved from possible damage.
