Located in a privileged position within the Archaeological Park of the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, from Villa Athena hotel it is possible to admire the Temple of Concordia. From a princely residence of the eighteenth century, after a careful restoration aimed to preserve the architectural style, was born in 1972 the hotel 5 * Villa Athena. The 27 rooms of Hotel Villa Athena are permeated of the same noble atmosphere innate in this structure thanks to its ancient tradition. The rooms, recently refurbished, are comfortable and soberly elegant, dominated by soft colors and situated in a quiet and silent area. They are divided into several categories: the double classic and deluxe rooms, junior suites and suites. All are equipped with queen or king size bed or two twin beds, sitting area with desk and chairs, flat screen LCD TV and a bathroom made from Sicilian ceramics and marble with bath and / or shower. The rooms may have a view over the city or the Temple of Concordia, or have a private garden.
The Classic Double Room (maximum occupancy two people) is about 20 square m.. It has a queen size bed, sitting area with desk and chairs, bathroom with tub or shower, overlooking the city or the private garden.
The Superior Double Room (maximum occupancy two people) has a size of 25-30 square m., with a queen-size or king-size bed or two twin beds, comfortable sitting room with working area, bathroom with tub or shower. The view is over the private garden or the Temple of Concordia, some have a small private outdoor area.
The Deluxe Room has an area of 25 square m. and can accommodate two people plus one extra bed or cot. The bed is queen size and in the room there is a comfortable lounge; the bathroom has a tub or shower. From the large private terrace you can admire the Temple of Concordia.
The Junior Suite, approx. 30-35 square m., can accommodate two people with an extra bed or cot. They may have a queen-size bed, king-size bed or two twin beds and a comfortable lounge. The bathroom has a tub or shower. The view is over the private garden.
The spacious Suites are 30 to 45 square m., have a queen size bed, king size bed or 2 twin beds, a sitting room and view over the garden or the Temple of Concordia. The bathroom, as in the other rooms, is made of ceramic and marble from Sicily and has a bathtub and / or shower. It can accommodate two people with one additional bed or cot.
The beautiful Presidential Suite has surface of 50 square m. and can accommodate two people with one additional bed or cot. It has a king-size bed and a comfortable lounge. The position is unique: it is located opposite the Temple of Concordia, which you can see from the large private terrace. The bathroom has a bathtub and a shower.
The Villa Suite is unique and measures 60 square m.; it can accommodate two people with one additional bed or cot. From this suite, located opposite the Temple of Concordia, it is possible to admire also the Temple of Juno and the Temple of Hercules. The bathroom has a bathtub and a shower. It also features a Turkish bath and massage beds.
All rooms have: air conditioning, LCD TV, stereo CD player, DVD player in some rooms, direct dial telephone, internet access, minibar, safe, hairdryer, non smoking rooms, wake up service, use of the swimming pool.
