Location
Masseria Maggiore is inserted between two lush parks, considered the green lungs of Sicily: the Parco dei Nebrodi and the Parco delle Madonie. The surrounding territory offers many excursions suggestions from both historical and cultural point of view, as well as natural. The Masseria is located in the Valle del Tusa, known for the art sculptures, and is not far from a charming old fishing village.

Hotel
The vegetation in which the Masseria Maggiore is located is typical Mediterranean. The approximately 33 hectares of olive trees, eucalyptus trees and fields surround the Masseria, as if it were a painting, and enhance its former glory. The Masseria, recently renovated, offers a stay in contact with nature and combines the fun of the proposed tours and activities with the pleasure of a walk along the river and the discovery of the Sicilian culinary tradition.

The accommodations offered from the Masseria Maggiore are 4: the Palmento, the Frantoio, the Fienile, the Casa Colonica.

Superior Suite Il Palmento - about 80 sqm, furnished with antique furniture, terracotta floors and wooden ceiling. It has a lounge area, sitting area and a third bed positioned in an old bath basin that was in use at back then. It has direct access to the lawn and pool.

Suite Il Frantoio – about 60 sqm, furnished with antique furniture, terracotta floors and wooden ceiling. It has a sitting area, a French bed and a double sofa bed, a sitting area. It has direct access to the lawn and pool.

Junior Suite Il Fienile – about 45 sqm, furnished with antique furniture, terracotta floors and wooden ceiling. It has a lounge area, sitting area with sofa bed (twin beds). It has a loft that leads to the double bed. It has direct access to the lawn and pool.

Apartament La Casa Colonica – about 28/30 sqm, it consists of two adjoining rooms. It overlooks the woods and is the only accommodation having a private terrace. It 'has a seating area and a living arae with one sofa bed (2 single beds) and a kitchenette.

Restaurant
The room that was once a barn, completely transformed and renovated, now houses the restaurant of Masseria Maggiore. Here guests can enjoy firsthand the traditional recipes, in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Services & Activities
The visit of the many sites of cultural and historical interest is absolutely recommended by the hosts, who will be happy to suggest the best places not to be missed. The Masseria is, in fact, an ideal base to explore the area: guests can ask for a list of all the activities to do, which include trekking, hiking and horseback riding, canoe and motor boat, tastings of typical products (which guests can buy on site). Guests who need a little relaxation, can enjoy a relaxing massage or can indulge in total rest on board the beautiful heated swimming pool.
